Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of bloxtoy (“we”, “us”, “the site”). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your passkeys and recovery code safe, and for everything done with your account.
  • Do not pretend to be someone else or choose a username that misleads others.
  • We may suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms.

2. Your content and copyright

“Your content” means the materials, works, and worlds you create and save on the site, including titles, descriptions, block data, animations, and thumbnail images.

You keep the copyright to your content. We do not take ownership of anything you make.

If your work uses materials made by other people, your copyright covers what you added, such as the layout, arrangement, and animations. The materials themselves still belong to their creators.

To run the site, you allow us to store, copy, display, and resize your content (for example, to make thumbnails), and to show your public content and username to other people. Content you keep private is only shown to you.

3. Free use of public content (commercial use allowed)

When you post (make public) your content on the site, you grant everyone a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use it as described below. Commercial use is allowed, and nobody needs to pay you.

Materials

Anyone may:

  • use your materials in their own works, such as Mix works and worlds on this site, and in games, videos, images, apps, and other projects;
  • change them and build on them;
  • do so for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

However, only the copyright holder may redistribute a material itself. Other people may not share, upload, sell, or give away a material as it is, or with only small changes, as a standalone file or asset (for example, re-posting it on another site or including it in an asset pack). Using a material as part of a new work is allowed; distributing the material on its own is not.

Works (Mix works and worlds)

Works are built by combining materials, so they are even more open. Anyone may:

  • use, copy, change, and remix your works;
  • share and redistribute them, as they are or changed, on this site or anywhere else;
  • do so for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

A work may contain materials made by other people. The copyright in those materials stays with their creators, and the rules for materials still apply to them: you may share a work as a whole, but you may not take materials out of a work and distribute them on their own.

Credit

Credit to the creator is not required, but it is appreciated. On the site, each material shows its creator, and each work lists the materials it uses and who made them.

You can make your content private or delete it at any time. After that, it will no longer be shown on the site, but the license above still applies to copies and works that other people already made while it was public.

Only make content public if you are happy for it to be used this way.

4. What you may post

You may only post content that you made yourself or have the right to share under the license in section 3. Do not post content that:

  • copies other people’s work, characters, logos, or trademarks without permission;
  • is illegal, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or harassing;
  • shares other people’s personal information;
  • is spam, or tries to harm the site or other users.

We may remove any content, or make it private, without notice if we believe it breaks these Terms.

5. Using other people’s content

Public content on the site is shared by its creators under section 3. However, we do not check every post, and we cannot promise that a creator really had the rights to share it. You use other people’s content at your own risk.

6. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, please contact us (see section 12) with a link to the content and an explanation. We will review it and remove it if appropriate.

7. Prohibited actions

  • Accessing the site in ways that put heavy load on our servers, such as automated mass downloads or requests.
  • Trying to get around security, or accessing other people’s accounts.
  • Interfering with ads or other parts of the site in ways that harm its operation.

8. Advertising

The site shows ads to stay free. Your content may appear on pages that also show ads. See our Privacy Policy for how ads and analytics use information.

9. Changes and availability

We may change, pause, or stop the site, or any feature of it, at any time. We are not responsible for loss of content, so please keep your own copies of anything important.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or from content posted by users.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you agree to the new Terms.
